About the Crossville, TN Facility
Located less than 2 hours east of Nashville, TN, our 25 year old 230,000 square feet Crossville facility has annual revenues of $225M, comprises approx 125 people. The hourly associates are United Steelworkers (USW) organized.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Direct and manage the overall Warehouse operations of the facility
Directly supervise all of the shift supervisors
Identify and implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement activities for all warehouse operations and functions
Responsible to develop budget for warehousing and distribution team
Responsible for developing employees on the floor using Dana Talent Management Tools and promoting the One Dana Culture
5s and Housekeeping-Maintain and improve appearance of World Class Facility
Education and/or
Experience:
A degree in related field and/or 5 years equivalent professional work experience in Manufacturing/Warehousing/Distribution or Engineering
Past experience as a supervisor/manager in a manufacturing/warehousing/distribution environment is a plus
Kaizen Team leader and or Lean Manufacturing
Knowledge of Six Sigma Process
Strong TPS/DOS acumen and performance results
Requirements:
Must have excellent customer service attitude and interpersonal skills
Exceptional time management and planning skills
Must maintain a positive and professional attitude when dealing with people at all levels of the organization
Must have excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
Must have strong skills and abilities to handle multiple task and responsibilities at one time
Must have experience working with New Product Launches
Good Computer Skills
Good working knowledge of TS 16949 standards
