Summary:
Under direct supervision, assists the licensed and/or certified therapy staff in conducting therapy programs for patients and performs general office duties as required.

Responsibilities:
Assists the therapist in carrying out exercise programs, procedures, modalities, and mobility skills, and in doing, so, demonstrates proper use of equipment.
Assists in preparing patients for treatment and in transporting patients, records, and equipment to and from assigned areas.
Supervises patient and performs safe gait exercise/training and activities of daily living as directed by the therapist.
Reports patient's conditions, reactions, and responses to the therapist.
Assembles and maintains equipment as required, and maintains supplies at an appropriate level.
May train/orient new technicians and volunteers.
Records patient charges and attendance as required.
Performs general office procedures as required.
Performs daily cleaning duties as required.
Demonstrates competence in performing critical skills to include appropriate delivery of care according to the age-specific needs of the population served.
Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Completes required education assignments annually.
Works toward achieving goals and objectives, and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
None specified; will accept any combination of formal education and/or prior work experience sufficient to demonstrate possession of the knowledge, skill and ability needed to perform the essential tasks of the job, typically such as would be equivalent to a high school diploma or GED.
Preference may be given to individuals possessing a HS diploma or GED.
Minimum
Experience:
One (1) year experience as a rehab therapy tech.
Licensure Requirement:

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
