Position SummaryThe Housekeeping Director plans, organizes, and directs the overall operations of the Housekeeping department to ensure a clean, safe working environment in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
Education, Experience, and Licensure RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredMinimum of two (2) years' supervisory experience in a health care settingTraining in environmental control practices and proceduresSpecific Job RequirementsMake independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actionKnowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post acute care facilityImplement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the departmentPerform proficiently in all competency areas including but not limited to:
patient rights, and safety and sanitationMaintains professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential informationUnderstand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance proceduresDisplays integrity and professionalism by adhering to Life Care's Code of Conduct and completes mandatory Code of Conduct and other appropriate compliance trainingEssential FunctionsPlan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the Housekeeping departmentMaintain the care of use of supplies and equipment, maintain facility appearance, and must perform regular inspections of patient rooms for sanitation, order, safety, and proper performance of assigned dutiesEnsure equipment is returned to appropriate locations in proper working condition and ready for the next useInventory stock and ensure adequate supplies/equipment for staffIdentify additional cleaning needs and adjust schedule to meet those needsMake daily rounds to assure that housekeeping staff are performing required dutiesRoutinely inspect facility for cleanliness and safety (i.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
