Responsibilities:
As a Medical Assistant at Cumberland Dermatology, you will play a crucial role in assisting our dermatologists and medical staff in delivering top-quality care to our patients.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting dermatologists during patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
Preparing and maintaining examination and treatment rooms.
Taking patient medical histories and documenting relevant information accurately.
Performing basic dermatological procedures under the guidance of medical professionals.
Educating patients on skincare routines, treatment plans, and post-procedure care.
Performing administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling phone inquiries.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant certification program preferred.
Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in a dermatology or medical office setting is a plus.
Strong understanding of dermatological procedures, skincare products, and common skin conditions is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and medical staff.
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer applications is not required.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
